Responsibilities
Operate in a lab environment to enhance lab capabilities, perform characterization, and conduct system validation testing
Develop and maintain hardware and software for test equipment to support validation of MEMS sensors and embedded systems
Assist in programming and debugging C code for embedded systems
Support the development of sensor data analysis and visualization routines
Support and develop printed circuit boards (PCBs) to facilitate testing setup
Create routines to facilitate sensor device testing using advanced lab equipment
Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer application requirements
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD degree in electrical engineering (Master's degree preferred)
Proficiency in LabVIEW™ and Python for test automation and data analysis
Experience with programming and debugging C code for embedded systems
Good understanding of communication protocols such as SPI, UART, and I²C
Familiarity with common lab equipment, including oscilloscopes and power supplies
Capabilities to design printed circuit boards (PCBs) (schematic and layout)
Good communication skills and fluency in English
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred
Prior experience working with sensors, such as accelerometers, gyroscopes, magnetometers, and pressure sensors
Experience with firmware development for embedded systems using C/C++
Comfortable working in Linux® environments, command-line tools, and version control systems (e.g., Git)
