Responsibilities

Operate in a lab environment to enhance lab capabilities, perform characterization, and conduct system validation testing
Develop hardware and software for test equipment to validate MEMS sensors for robotics and other applications
Support the integration of sensing solutions into various hardware/software platforms
Assist in developing sensor data analysis and visualization routines
Create routines to facilitate sensor device testing using advanced lab equipment
Support testing activities to meet customer application requirements

Required

Pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechatronics, or a relevant engineering program (Master's degree preferred)
Proficiency or working knowledge of ROS2 (Robot Operating System 2) for robot software development and integration
Experience with scripting development using Python or MATLAB®
Good understanding of communication protocols such as SPI, UART, and I²C
Familiarity with common lab equipment, including oscilloscopes and power supplies
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred

Prior experience working with sensors, such as IMU or ToF
Experience developing robotics applications using NVIDIA® Jetson™ platforms
Exposure to simulation environments such as Isaac Sim™ or Gazebo
Experience with firmware development for embedded systems using C/C++
Comfortable working in Linux® environments, command-line tools, and version control systems (e.g., Git)
