Responsibilities
Perform system and board level testing to validate that new products meet design goals
Develop, document, and execute design verification testing. Report results and recommends appropriate engineering tradeoffs to optimize functional performance, reliability, and product cost
Support products in volume manufacturing by hands-on troubleshooting of problems and failure analysis of returned units
Create and review design ECOs as needed to support new product development and sustaining engineering needs
Participate in cross-functional project teams during design phase to achieve product design goals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent with 8 + years of experience in an electrical engineering or product engineering role
The ability to use tools such as oscilloscopes, high voltage probes, power meters, etc. to successfully and independently test and debug circuits
The demonstrated experience creating and executing design verification test plans
The demonstrated ability to provide guidance to a multi-disciplined team
Preferred
Experience with system and board-level failure analysis
Experience with resonant tank circuits, RF inverters, DC/DC converters
Knowledge of electronics reliability validation and testing
General familiarity with IPC standards
