Responsibilities

Conduct practical and impactful quantitative research on our community of hosts and guests
Uncover insights about users by using sophisticated and innovative methodologies, measurement strategies, experiments, and mixed-methods research
Partner and share insights with product teams, other insights teams, data scientists, marketers, policy managers, and executives

Qualification

Quantitative researchStatistical analysisSurvey designMixed-methods researchStatistical analysis packagesUsability testing toolsProject managementCross-cultural productsCoding/scripting skillsStorytelling skills

Required

Masters or PhD in Psychology, Survey Science/Methods, Human-Computer Interaction, Economics, Political Science, or a related field
10+ years of industry experience
Strong storytelling skills, ability to bring data and insights to life in compelling ways for varied audiences
Experience with statistical analysis, modeling, experimental design, and survey design
Experience with statistical analysis packages and (R, Stata, SPSS, etc.)
Experience with survey programming platforms (Confirmit, Qualtrics, etc.)
Experience conducting in-depth interviews and foundational qualitative methods
Comfort using usability testing tools (UserTesting, dscout, outset.ai, etc.)
Experience managing projects involving cross-functional teams
Familiarity with SQL

Preferred

6+ years in-house experience working in tech, hospitality, or a dual-sided marketplace
Experience with ETL and Python
Coding/scripting skills
Experience with cross-cultural products or international surveys
