Research Assistant/Associate – TB & COVID Labs

Responsibilities

Conduct molecular biology experiments, including DNA/RNA isolation, PCR, and quantitative RT-PCR, and assist team members as needed
Perform immunology experiments, such as tissue culture, blood processing, and isolation of lymphocytes and macrophages
Support laboratory operations by preparing reagents, maintaining inventory, stocking supplies, and assisting with shipping/receiving non-infectious or biohazard materials
Perform microbiology experiments, including media preparation, bacterial culturing, and strain modification

Required

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
General knowledge of BSL2 biosafety protocols
Conduct molecular biology experiments, including DNA/RNA isolation, PCR, and quantitative RT-PCR
