Senior Manager, Engineering – Asset Lifecycle management

Responsibilities

Lead the reliability backbone of our Morris Plains, New Jersey site
Guide a team of site-based engineers to ensure every process and laboratory asset is designed, maintained, improved, and retired with intention
Set maintenance strategy, champion data-driven reliability, and own master data and Key Performance Indicators to keep equipment available, compliant, and audit-ready
Partner across Operations and Manufacturing Sciences to support new product introductions, define User Requirements, Functional Specifications, and Detailed Design Specifications, and drive facility changes aligned to five- and ten-year plans
Strengthen Root Cause Analysis and Corrective and Preventive Action disciplines and invest in training and cross-skilling to enhance patient safety, regulatory confidence, and uninterrupted production

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in a Good Manufacturing Practice–regulated environment
Proven experience with regulatory audits and inspections
Demonstrated use of Root Cause Analysis tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis)
Strong background in leading or supporting investigations
Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred

Professional experience in Reliability Engineering
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
