Responsibilities
Manage the development, delivery, and evaluation of the RN nursing residency program
Design and maintain curriculum materials and facilitate learning activities
Guide preceptors and oversee resident competency verification
Ensure all program components meet accreditation, regulatory, and organizational standards
Manage program documentation and collect and analyze performance data
Support budgeting and administrative processes
Collaborate closely with nursing leadership, clinical educators, Human Resources, and academic partners
Contribute to continuous program improvement through outcome evaluation and survey analysis
Serve as the CHS lead during ANCC PTAP reviews and virtual site visits
Strengthen resident readiness through mentorship, coaching, and educational support
Qualification
Required
Master's Degree in Nursing, Education, or a related field required
5 years of clinical/education experience required
RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required
BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
ANCC-NPDBC - ANCC Nursing Professional Development Certification required within 2 years of hire or transfer into position
Preferred
Experience with ANCC Practice Transition Accreditation Program (PTAP) or other nursing residency accreditation process preferred
