Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and high performance
Define and drive Chime’s product design vision, ensuring we create mobile experiences that are visually stunning and easy to use
Partner closely with product and engineering teams to develop innovative solutions that prioritize our members’ needs
Oversee end-to-end design execution, from user research and wireframing to high-fidelity visuals and production-ready assets
Champion a human-centered design approach, leveraging data and user insights to drive decisions
Ensure consistency and excellence in our design language and systems across all products
Advocate for the importance of design in driving business growth and consumer trust
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in product design, with 5+ years leading high-performing design teams
A track record of delivering high-quality, visually compelling consumer mobile products at scale
Expertise in mobile-first design principles, UX best practices, and visual storytelling
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and grow teams, instilling a culture of design excellence
Experience working closely with product managers and engineers to translate business needs into engaging user experiences
A deep understanding of user research, data-driven design, and usability testing
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment, with a passion for making financial tools more accessible
