Responsibilities
Run at least one of the following with assistance: bump, multi-lumen/profiles, braided tubing, vacuum, co-ex/tri-layer, or tight tolerance/thin wall tubing (<.002" wall thickness or +/-.0005" tolerance)- Ability to set up / maintain any auxiliary equipment (i.e. auxiliary heaters, spools, pay-off, take up systems etc.) for a given line
Debugging and modifying of single lumen/single layer process as required without assistance
Maintains all paperwork properly with no support
Run all testing equipment (moisture, elongation, shrinkage, burst, peel test)
Sets up single lumen/single layer extrusion jobs, verifies correct pin, tool and dies are used per the work order and customer drawing without assistance
Works ethically and respects those around them to create a positive, supportive working environment
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
1+ years of experience as an extrusion operator or technician
Basic Math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, units of measurement conversions)
Preferred
Experience with entering electronic work order documentation. QAD and SAP are preferred
Steel toed shoes (preferred)
