Responsibilities

Lead the technical direction of the Android application to execute the defined product and feature roadmap
Architect systems using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android development principles
Maintain scalable modular architectures including MVVM/MVI and Clean Architecture patterns
Optimize app performance, startup time, memory usage, and rendering efficiency
Integrate cleanly with REST/GraphQL services and backend systems
Build and maintain automated unit, integration, and UI test suites
Mentor Android engineers and help establish excellent engineering culture
Collaborate with iOS, Backend, Product, Design, and QA teams for cohesive execution

Required

7+ years of Android development experience
Expert proficiency in Kotlin and Jetpack libraries including Compose
Strong understanding of Coroutines, Flow, dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger), and architectural best practices
Experience maintaining scalable, modularized Android applications
Strong communication skills and ability to lead technical initiatives

Preferred

Experience with analytics instrumentation, feature flags, and A/B testing
Familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM)
Experience with mobile security best practices including encryption
