Responsibilities
Screen applicants to determine eligibility for services and conduct intake of new clients
Assist in providing client services
Perform ongoing computer data entry of both client and volunteer information for the purpose of conducting conflict checks and generating reports and other materials
Maintaining client files and creating forms and documents
Coordinating volunteer schedules
Assisting in the recruitment and training of volunteers
Assisting in the scheduling of presentations and trainings
Translating/interpreting for clients, as appropriate
Engaging in other tasks and projects as needed to further SDVLP’s mission
Qualification
Required
Fluency (written and verbal) in Spanish and English required
Strong Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills required
At least 6 months of general office administration experience required
Associate degree
Preferred
Experience serving low income and disadvantaged people preferred
