Law Practice

Responsibilities

Manage business litigation and employment defense matters
Draft and respond to discovery (ROGs, RFPs, RFAs)
Take and defend fact and expert depositions
Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions and motions in limine
Participate in settlement negotiations and ADR
Advise clients on litigation strategy, risks, and outcomes
Collaborate with firm leadership and a seasoned support team

Qualification

Active California Bar licenseBusiness litigation experienceEmployment defense experienceCalifornia civil procedureLegal writing skillsOral advocacy skillsResearch skillsSelf-directedDetail-oriented

Required

Active California Bar (in good standing)
JD from an accredited law school
3+ years of business litigation and/or employment defense experience
Proven experience handling discovery and depositions independently
Strong command of California civil procedure and evidence
Excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
Self-directed, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a remote environment
