Responsibilities

Full-Stack Prototyping: Build simple demos and proof-of-concept applications that showcase the value of AI tools to internal clients and firm leadership
Model Development: Train and evaluate machine learning models, including fine-tuning large language models (LLMs), using state-of-the-art architectures in both cloud and on-prem environments
Opportunity Scoping & Solution Design: Translate ambiguous business and legal challenges into clearly defined technical problem statements and targeted AI solutions
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with attorneys, business professionals, and IT teams to understand needs, manage expectations, and support successful adoption of AI tools
Communication & Documentation: Produce high-quality written and verbal communications, including project briefs, experiment plans, stakeholder updates, and user-facing documentation
AI Systems Architecture: Design secure, scalable AI infrastructure, including pipelines for natural language processing, automation, and decision-support tools tailored to legal workflows

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science, AI, data science, engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 1 year of experience in AI, machine learning, or software development, with demonstrated success in translating technical work into real-world solutions
Proficiency with machine learning frameworks, NLP techniques, and modern AI models (especially LLMs); familiarity with cloud platforms and on-prem setups
Intermediate Python and SQL required; JavaScript or other frontend experience is a plus
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally and distill complex concepts for diverse audiences
Passion for AI, a strong sense of curiosity, and the drive to explore what's next
