Responsibilities

Supervise, train, and mentor the System Specialist and Technician team; set goals, monitor performance, conduct employee review meetings, and schedule formal training and guide and support the team on planning and managing construction projects through completion
Schedule and assign installation and commissioning tasks to the team and ensure schedules are maintained and projects proceed according to plans, job specifications, and cost estimates
Maintain and improve planned and booked margins for technical support programs
Direct and supervise the development and use of project plans in monitoring and controlling the execution of work and review customer feedback and ensure customer retention and account growth goals such as adds, extras, upgrades, and escalations are achieved
Maintain the relationships between sales, engineering, and executions teams so changes and discrepancies can be managed to minimize cost and delay throughout the estimating and execution phases of projects and accountable for the profit and loss of projects assigned to the operations team and serve as a local a leader and customer representative for the operations team
Support project profitability through cost-containment procedures and processes and travel between branch locations as needed
Maintain excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

Required

High school diploma or state-recognized GED
5+ years on-the-job experience with: DDC Controls including knowledge of design, startup, programming, integration, documentation, and commissioning
Training and/or mentoring employees responsible for DDC Automation startup
Experience with Microsoft Office
Ability and willingness to travel 10%
Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred

Bachelor's degree
3+ years of experience in training, mentoring, scheduling, and supervising employees responsible for Siemens DDC startup
5+ years' experience in engineering or project management
Understanding and knowledge of fire alarm systems
Must obtain NICET II Fire Alarm System Certification within 24mo
