Regional General Manager of ESS
Jinko U.S. is a leading company in the renewable energy sector, and they are seeking a Regional General Manager of ESS. The role involves setting sales strategies, managing client relationships, and overseeing the sales and technical teams to drive business growth in the energy storage industry.
Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:
Responsible for the development and maintenance of clients in the region
Attend industry events to get new potential clients
Pursue new business opportunities with key clients and partners
Present up-dates to clients on new products
Ability to identify and solve client issues strategically
Sales and Business Development:
Create and maintain strong relationship with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels
Make presentations, and quotations for clients
Conduct meetings with new clients and present the different product portfolio
Develop and negotiate contracts, pricing structures and terms with clients
Work with sales, technical, and internal teams to ensure highest level of customer service
Reporting and analytics
Establishing sales objectives by forecast and sales quotas
Product Knowledge and Technical Expertise:
Stay updated on ESS technologies, market trends, and regulatory changes affecting the energy storage industry
Provide clients with detailed information about the technical aspects and benefits of ESS solutions, ensuring that products meet customer needs
Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and workshops to showcase ESS capabilities and advantages
Market Intelligence and Strategy:
Analyse market trends, client requirements, and competitor activities to shape sales strategies and product offerings
Contribute to the development of strategic initiatives aimed at increasing market penetration and client retention
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and present regular reports on account activities, sales forecasts, and customer feedback to senior management
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client communications, and contractual obligations in CRM systems
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with product development, marketing, and customer service teams to align client needs with business offerings
Provide feedback to internal teams on customer demands and emerging market trends to support product development and innovation
Qualification
Required
Experience in sales, marketing in renewable market
Familiar with Energy Storage Systems
Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets with team leadership role
Design and implement strategic plans to reach sales targets
Drafting detailed sales reports
Leading and motivating staff to improve customer service with clients
Cultivating lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty
Proficiency with sales software and other tools
Ability to motivate and inspire teams
Prospecting skills
Data analysis
Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization
Ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
Ability to position products against competitors
