GS Consulting is conducting a search for a Cloud Software Engineer to help shape the future of Cyber Analytic development. The role involves creating custom applications and administering data to support cyber defense efforts for US Government networks.

Responsibilities

Create custom applications to retrieve and process data

Create custom applications to analyze and correlate data

Develop web based interfaces for users to retrieve and query data

Create and administer data structures and storage

Leverage knowledge and experience in computer network defense to identify valuable uses of data

Administer and configure linux, CENTOS virtual machines in cloud, openstack architecture to host applications and store data

Collect and analyze network data

Required

Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering, Network Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or related discipline

Experience working with software engineering teams

Experience with some of the following technologies: Node.js, AngularJS, Bootstrap, JQuery, Python, MongoDB, Postgres, HBASE, HDFS, Oracle, MySQL, Pig, Java, .Net, C#, C, C++, PHP, ASP.Net, Unix, Linux, GIT
