Swabian Instruments is a fast-growing developer of cutting-edge technology in the photonics industry. They are seeking a Technical Sales Development Representative to drive sales growth by managing lead generation and supporting the sales team throughout the sales cycle.

Responsibilities
Drive the growth of our sales pipeline by spearheading outbound and inbound lead generation efforts and providing sales support to cultivate relationships
Effectively engage with prospects, qualify leads to fuel our sales engine, and support the sales team throughout various stages of the sales cycle
Bridge the gap between our industry-leading technology and those who can benefit from it
Qualification
Required

Insatiable drive to be the best at what you do
Strong technical background in a scientific discipline to understand the principles behind our technology and its relevant applications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Engineering, Life Sciences, or Materials Science required

Possess a ‘hunter' mentality to persistently pursue new business opportunities, demonstrating perseverance in the face of rejection
Authentic communicator with a genuine passion for interacting with others, dedicated to mastering the art of effective communication and negotiation
Commitment to continuous skill, product, and industry knowledge development through training, experience, and feedback
Effective project management skills to prioritize and lead multiple projects, coordinating with team members where needed to achieve goals
Preferred
Experience working in a customer-facing role, preferably technical sales in the test & measurement industry
Knowledge of research-driven industry verticals like Photonics, Life Sciences, Semiconductors, or Quantum Science
Experience with CRM solutions like HubSpot, Salesforce, or comparable software
