The Project Manager for Metering and Grid Integration will lead client projects, manage budgets, and support business development efforts while fostering teamwork within the organization.

Responsibilities

Lead the team with new and existing client work related to all aspects of the RIG and Metering Fieldwork and Consulting process in multiple ISOs; including CAISO, ERCOT, MISO, PJM, SPP, etc

Manage client RIG and Metering projects from start to finish, bringing in technical SMEs and engineers on certain items when needed

Manage workload and project scheduling for Meter Engineering, CAISO Certified Meter Inspectors and Meter Programmers

Lead our team and clients through Meter related issues, and help navigate tariffs, rules, and regulations

Manage project budgets and task orders to ensure they are on target for cost allocations

Perform various portfolio management services for our clients, ensuring project deadlines and milestones are met and the projects comply with ISO and regulatory requirements

Support Grid Integration Practice Area processes - internal administrative, business development and proposal drafting/processing, and client-serving processes

Recruit and develop resources that can meet client needs

Support the Grid Integration team's business development effort and work with our team to connect with potential clients to whom we can help

Support and develop services that add value to current and potential clients

Leverage your business relationships to grow GridSME's client reach

Develop relationships and industry contacts to assist clients' adaptation to a changing energy world

Support the creation of proposals and statements of work, placing resources, and managing client relationship needs for the team; coordinated with the Business Development team

Mentor and train team Project Managers and Project Coordinators on GridSME processes

Demonstrate flexibility in learning and growing into any and all of our current and future services (e.g., generator model validation, grid technology, energy storage, solar, wind, and inverter-based resource challenges, etc.)

Aid in developing processes and procedures for team members to support training and documentation of best practices

Help us build and improve GridSME's culture by living out our Guiding Principles

Work and collaborate with the entire GridSME team. We focus on each other's success
