Responsibilities
Support the creation of plans for research studies and/or programs for a feature with guidance. Follows established procedures to define and scope standard problems for an end-to-end (study design, sample selection, test creation, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting) research plan for business needs for a product. Supports the team on research and other data sources that has already been done in order to inform the plan
Collaborates with others for cross-disciplinary research efforts for product outcomes. Supports and assists basic knowledge with other disciplines on how to apply user research. Participates in collaborative activities (e.g., journey mapping exercises, brainstorming/ideation workshops) with cross-disciplinary teams. Provides support to review product maker customer engagement plans and assisting w/ recommendations to improve product team learning and customer good will
Contributes to the formation of the solution for a feature. Supports business needs while assisting w/ business cases for the research to project managers/leaders
Qualification
Required
Pursuing Master's degree in Human- Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Communications, Information Science, Information Architecture, User Experience Design, Behavioral Science, Social Sciences, Psychology or a related field, with at least one term remaining post-internship
Preferred
Creates and drives plans for research studies
Present research findings with a compelling presentation and communication style
Experience with developer tools or technical products
You've worked alongside others writing and reviewing code - as a full-time developer, open source contributor, or regular hackathon participant
