Lead/StaffLockheed Martin is seeking a Procurement Engineer, Staff for their Supplier Performance team within Global Supply Chain Management. The role involves acting as a subject matter expert to address complex technical issues that impact component delivery and working collaboratively with various teams to mitigate supply chain risks.

Responsibilities
Work as a subject matter expert for aircraft metallic tubing to resolve emerging and complex technical issues affecting component on-time delivery and part shortages
Work with Global Supply Chain Managers, Technical Subcontract Managers (TSM), Capacity/Rate Readiness, Supplier Risk/Performance Analysis, Supplier Quality, Design Engineering and others to identify global supply chain disruption risks and mitigate existing issues
Support root cause corrective action (RCCA), supplier evaluations, technical evaluations for suppliers
Support development of improvement strategies and mitigation plans
Qualification
Required
Subject matter expert for aircraft metallic tubing
Ability to resolve emerging and complex technical issues affecting component on-time delivery and part shortages
Work with Global Supply Chain Managers, Technical Subcontract Managers (TSM), Capacity/Rate Readiness, Supplier Risk/Performance Analysis, Supplier Quality, Design Engineering and others
Identify global supply chain disruption risks and mitigate existing issues
Support root cause corrective action (RCCA), supplier evaluations, technical evaluations for suppliers
Support development of improvement strategies and mitigation plans
Ability to travel 30-35% to work with suppliers at their facilities, including some potential international travel
Ability to work part-time remotely and part-time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility
Preferred
Previous Global Supply Chain experience
Experience working with suppliers to resolve technical issues and ensure all procured materials meet quality and performance standards
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical discussions with suppliers, internal teams, and government representatives
