Responsibilities
Structure and perform analysis on primary research to identify insights and value creation opportunities for the bank
Document findings of study and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes
Interview personnel and conduct on-site observation to ascertain unit functions, work performed, and methods, equipment, and personnel used to conceptualize and define operational problems
Get familiar with CTBC existing data systems and databases, and evaluate data gaps with a lens of customer segmentation and customer insights, mining and cleaning data in preparation for analysis when necessary
Observe the current system in operation and gather and analyze information about each of the parts of component problems, using a variety of sources
Define data requirements and gather and validate information, applying judgment and statistical tests
Develop and present output of mathematical or simulation models of problems, relating constants and variables, restrictions, alternatives, conflicting objectives, and their numerical parameters
Specify manipulative or computational methods to be applied to models
Perform validation and testing of models to ensure adequacy and reformulate models as necessary
Gather, organize and analyze information on problems or procedures and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding
Collaborate with others in the organization to ensure successful implementation of chosen solutions
Identify key drivers through conceptual thinking and analysis to develop solutions to existing problems and causes
Conduct research and analysis of industry, company, and customer data to support the identification of key strategic trends
Support and analyze existing growth/marketing strategy of the bank
Partner with business unit heads and department managers to analyze existing business and work trends to produce opportunities for improvement
Share findings to executives through applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Access, Project Mgt and any other relevant visualization tool
Package, propose, and communicate opportunities to senior management
Propose action and implementation plans for viable business opportunities
Assist in developing senior management level presentations and memos that clearly communicates strategy analysis and recommendations
Perform all assigned duties under the Bank’s compliance programs and related laws & regulations, including successfully completing all mandatory training on related Bank’s and BSA Compliance as well as other required laws and regulations as assigned in a timely manner
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Management, Finance, International Business, Economics or related field
Three years of experience as Management Analyst, Project Manager, International Business Manager, Import/Export Manager or related occupation
