COMPOSITE/PLASTIC FABRICATOR LEADER
The Department of the Air Force is seeking a Composite/Plastic Fabricator Leader who will lead a team of trades and labor workers at Hill AFB. The role involves performing trades and labor work while ensuring that team members complete their assigned tasks in accordance with standards.

Responsibilities
Lead a team of trades and/or labor workers
Perform nonsupervisory trades and/or labor work that is usually of the same kind and level as members of the work crew led
Perform Signature Assessments of Low Observable Coating for damage, integrity, and overall Low Observable System status for aircraft assigned to the depot
Evaluate and perform aircraft composite repairs

This position is subject to provisions of the DoD Priority Placement Program

Relocation costs or other incentives may be available and considered by the organization
This position may require travel. May be required to travel (TDY) any place, any time, and in any manner to support the unit's mission, 24 hours a day 7 days a week flight test operation
This position may require drug testing and the candidate may be subject to passing a drug test upon selection
Selectee is expected to be granted with and/or maintain the appropriate security clearance required for the position
Selectee may be required to serve a probationary or trial period
Direct Deposit: All federal employees are required to have direct deposit
A pre-employment physical examination will be required
Must be able to qualify for license/permit to operate required vehicles and aerospace ground equipment
Must be able to pass a physical examination required to work around toxic chemicals and be able to wear the proper personal protective equipment
May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty, scheduled and unscheduled overtime or rotating shifts
Ability to Lead or Supervise
Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation, Repair etc
Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic)
Use of Measuring Instruments
Ability To Interpret Instructions, Specification, etc. (includes blueprint reading)
Ability To Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment
Knowledge of Materials
