Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze data from the European Union’s Emissions Trading System (EU ETS)
Create replicable code to merge annual EU ETS data with other data at the facility level
Explore the data for interesting insights and learn more about related policies
Compare EU ETS insights with data from emissions trading/cap-and-trade systems around the world
Contribute to an RFF blogpost or issue brief summarizing data insights

Qualification

Required

Education: Priority is given to candidates enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program that is relevant to RFF's research and mission
Demonstrated interest in European climate policy
Experience completing an independent data-related project
