Responsibilities

Providing legal counsel to Board Staff regarding the interpretation and application of various laws, including the Milk Marketing Law, the Milk Marketing Fee Act, and the Milk Producers' Security Act, along with Board regulations and Official General Orders
Guiding investigatory processes to ensure that the presentations made to the Board for prosecutions are thorough and well-founded
Reviewing prosecution referrals from Board Staff, issuing citations when warranted, engaging in settlement discussions, and representing cases before the Board
Monitoring compliance with Board orders and any negotiated settlements, ensuring that all legal proceedings are conducted effectively and in accordance with established legal standards

Required

Two years of professional legal experience and graduation from an accredited school of law; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training
You must be certified for admission to the Bar of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and must maintain membership on a continuous basis during employment
You must be able to perform essential job functions

Preferred

Experience working independently preparing and representing clients in administrative and appellate proceedings
Experience with regulatory or statutory drafting
