Responsibilities
Perform routine laboratory tasks, including preparing samples, conducting tests, and recording results
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
Assist in the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines to ensure accuracy and consistency
Lift and handle materials and equipment, with a maximum weight of up to 50 pounds
Stand for extended periods as required by various laboratory tasks
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient laboratory operations
Filling, labeling, and shrinking of custom chemical orders + stock chemical items. (Paraformaldehyde, Glutaraldehyde, buffers, stains, and fixatives)
Maintaining proper paperwork by following company lot # and expiration procedures
Maintaining equipment throughout the day. (cleaning of all used beakers + filling apparatus)
Assisting in the operation of lab equipment. (ampoule filler / sealer, ampoule printer, and shrinking machines)
Follows all safety guidelines with the use of company supplied PPE
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in a related field is a plus
Strong interest in laboratory work and a desire to pursue a career in life sciences or diagnostic products
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward learning and development
