Working cross-functionally to design and execute effective customer acquisition campaigns
Tackling ambiguous, large-scale challenges with a systematic, creative approach
Designing and implementing state-of-the-art technical solutions to complex business problems
Continuously learning and adopting best practices to drive engineering and operational excellence
Providing thoughtful technical guidance to the team and establishing the long-term engineering vision
Championing software engineering best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables
Mentoring and empowering team members to grow their skills and problem-solving abilities
Collaborating on the design, implementation, and deployment of secure, scalable internet-scale systems
Working cross-functionally with engineers, designers, product managers, and data scientists to deliver impactful projects
Identifying and implementing the most effective patterns and methods for performance, scalability, and architecture
Qualification
Required
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred
3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
