Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on passenger vehicles and light trucks
Diagnose and repair drivability issues, engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical, and HVAC systems
Use GM diagnostic tools (GDS2, Tech2, MDI) and service information systems (SI)
Document repairs and communicate effectively with service advisors
Ensure customer vehicles are repaired safely and efficiently
Maintain on-going training and standards education as required by Ferman and the manufacturer for certifications
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of experience as an automotive technician (B Level or equivalent)
Strong familiarity with GM vehicle systems and diagnostics
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Must be able to pass pre-employment background screening and drug test
Preferred
ASE certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)
GM training or certification a major plus
EV Experience a plus
