Service Business Success Manager - Columbia, MD

Responsibilities
Leverage input from the R&S Government Sales teams and Service Delivery organizations to enable customer focused service product ideas and go-to-market plans
Shape new Service delivery strategies to meet market demands (through understanding customer requirements and concept of operations), generating service agreement scope and content, and supporting customer meetings to deliver seamless service integration
Support the R&S Government Sales team as directed for compiling market information regarding system service, including development of marketing collateral, sales training, and implementation playbooks to support R&S Government Sales
Build sustainment models/plans for Rohde & Schwarz systems to enable long-term supportability
Develop a scalable approach to identifying end-of-life status for systems and generate leads for the R&S Government Sales organization to engage the customers (Technology Refresh)
Ensure effective handover of service solution from Sales/Projects to Service Delivery
Provide guidance to management for decision-making as regards overall service business health and direction, as well as product definition and planning
Support process development activities (identify process gaps, suggest solutions, document work instructions) as relates to service sales
Work cross-functionally with other departments in a collaborative fashion to support the overall Service organization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in business administration, or related field, or similar tenure of experience working in a sales organization
5+ years of sales or business development experience, preferably in a Service field
Experience with 'ground-up' product planning and development/release (product imagination through actualization and deployment), preferably in a Service field
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite tools (mainly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Experience with customer management tools (CRM) and creating data packages from those tools
Excellent and effective communication ability, comfortable with changing organizational needs, highly engaged in business success, ability effectively engagement with customers
Ability to travel up to 30% (customer visits, onsite meetings if working remote, eg), including international travel
Ability to support early morning or later evening meetings depending upon time zone
US Citizen capable of obtaining Public Trust clearance
Preferred
Preference to be within commute distance of Columbia, MD for hybrid work model
