EVS Site Safety & Health Officer, Level 2 (L2 SSHO)
King & George, LLC is seeking a dedicated safety lead for EVS operations. The EVS Site Safety & Health Officer will ensure compliance with safety regulations and lead safety training and incident investigations.

Responsibilities
Conduct EVS-focused JSAs/JHAs for chemical use, bloodborne pathogen cleanup, and equipment operation (e.g., floor scrubbers, steam cleaning)
Deliver specialized training on SDS interpretation, HAZWOPER bloodborne pathogen protocols, and PPE donning/doffing
Perform regular inspections of chemical storage areas and cleaning-equipment maintenance logs; track and close safety findings
Lead investigations for any EVS-related incidents; recommend engineering or administrative controls to prevent recurrence
Maintain training rosters, incident logs, and equipment inspection records in compliance with OSHA and EM 385-1-1
Qualification
Required
OSHA 30-hour card
At least five (5) years of safety oversight experience in a healthcare or industrial cleaning environment
Eight (8) hours of annual refresher SOH training specific to EVS hazards
Must be able to successfully pass, as required, a federal, state, or local government's background investigation
Preferred
Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST)
HAZWOPER 40-hour
Bloodborne Pathogens Instructor Certification
