Program Manager - Youth, Family & Community
YMCA is dedicated to shaping the future of youth, families, and communities across Greater Seattle. The Program Manager will support the development and delivery of the Youth, Family, and Community Services plan by designing, implementing, and evaluating programs that meet community needs, while ensuring program quality and consistency through collaboration with YMCA staff.

Responsibilities
Support the design and implementation of the YGS Youth, Family, and Community services plan
Support the design and pilot implementation of new service offerings that support youth, family, and community needs through partnership with staff at YMCA locations
Professionally engages with parents/guardians to provide pertinent information about their child’s experience and to promote upcoming programs
Maintains required records according to YMCA standards
Compiles program statistics and provides reports as required for assigned programs. Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of and participation in programs
Ensures that safety procedures are followed and that all programs are in compliance with YMCA best practices and any other applicable standards through on-site visits
Attends staff meetings and trainings as required. May support logistics of meetings and trainings

Qualification
Required
21 years of age or older
High school graduate or equivalent
Three (3) years or more of experience working in youth development programs
One (1) year or more of supervisory experience in a youth development program
Strong customer service skills, responding to multiple questions by phone, email, and in person. Ability to problem solve and resolve conflict
Strong computer skills and experience working with word processing, spreadsheet, and database software
Demonstrated attention to detail and confidentiality of evaluative information
Knowledge of standard office equipment such as copiers and phone systems
Current state-approved first-aid certification
Current state-approved infant/child (or community if school-aged) CPR certification. At hire, or earliest possible training (but no later than 90 days after employment)
Preferred
College degree. Other applicable education, training, and experience, which provide the knowledge, abilities, and skills necessary to perform effectively in the position will be considered
One (1) year or more of demonstrated experience in program development and implementation
Prior experience in training coordination and implementation
Knowledge of and previous experience with diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation, etc.)
Ability to speak any language in addition to English may be helpful
