Enrollment Specialist, Employee Benefits

Unison Risk Advisors is seeking an Enrollment Specialist to join their Client Care team. The specialist will assist in managing enrollments, changes, and terminations while ensuring quality control and enhancing client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Manage internal and external resources in a manner necessary to meet project deadlines and to resolve issues that arise
Work cohesively with other team members in an effort to achieve a successful and positive client experience
Communicate with clients and team in a pleasant, professional manner
Proactively identify ways to improve processing efficiency
Processes complex enrollments, terms, and changes
Oversee basic enrollments, terms and changes sent to the Patra team
Takeover Spreadsheets
Navigate multiple carrier portals
Collect, analyze, and audit data from various sources
Work with Patra team to audit enrollments and terminations (pre and post renewal)
Work with the HRIS Specialist to audit employee-facing benefits enrollment platforms
Monitor HRIS Mailbox
Identify enrollment changes to send to Patra or process manually
Maintain organization within the mailbox and file emails accordingly
Manage HRIS Systems
Keep Maxwell dashboard up to date
Monitor Employee Navigator dashboard for action items
Work Exception Reports
Responding to inquiries from the Patra team on a daily basis
Assist with technical issues

Required

Self-starter and quick learner
Strong attention to detail and follow through
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize assignments
High level of productivity, reliability, responsibility, attendance, dependability, thoroughness, and accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel
Problem solver who can recognize an issue and develop a course of action to resolve quickly and efficiently, often in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to perform a wide variety of tasks and projects
Strong customer service orientation
Ability to lead and work with others within a collaborative, team-oriented environment with a positive attitude
Pass the Maryland State Life & Health exam within the first 90 days of employment
Fulfill Maryland State Continuing Education (CE) requirements annually
Participate in internal training sessions and other professional development opportunities as needed
Knowledge of Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Outlook and Excel
Valid Driver's License
