Responsibilities
Perform software development in C/C++, bash, Python, YAML, Powershell, and other relevant languages to support AI infrastructure
Partnering with appropriate stakeholders to determine user requirements for one or more complex scenarios
Providing technical leadership for the identification of dependencies and the development of design documents for a product, application, service, or platform
Mentor and guide engineers to produce extensible, maintainable code used across Microsoft
Proactively seeking new knowledge and adapts to new trends, technical solutions, and patterns that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale and shares knowledge with other engineers

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role
Preferred
Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
A technical background and solid foundation in software engineering principles and architecture design
An intellectual curiosity and passion about learning new technologies
Previous cross-team collaboration skills and the desire to collaborate in a team of researchers and developers
3+ years of experience in cloud security and Azure
3+ years of experience with Azure DevOps or github
1+ years of experience with CI/CD systems
1+ years of experience with CMake
