Responsibilities

Responsibilities include overseeing escalations, monitoring and analyzing case data, coaching and shadowing team members, and collaborating with partners to share metrics and enhance performance
Serve as a change agent by using data-driven insights to drive process improvements and support organizational transformation
Manages the day-to-day activities and strategic support of employee relations programs for an organization
Designing, planning, and implementing the organization's employee relations programs, policies, and procedures; ensuring policies are consistently applied as they relate to employee relations
Managing employee relations specialists and assisting the director in developing and overseeing organizational employee relations strategies, processes, and practices
Maintaining good communication and a positive relationship with employees to promote employee satisfaction and ensuring a positive working environment
Providing advice, counseling and guidance to all levels of management and staff on company policies and procedures

Required

Proven management skills
Strong employee relations knowledge
Ability to quickly understand business operations
University / college degree
8+ years of industry experience
At least 5 years of prior management experience
In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered
Bachelors degree

Preferred

Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable
