Operate manual or CNC routers to cut, trim and shape materials
Read and interpret blueprints, routing instructions, and measurements
Set up tools, fixtures, and materials for each job
Ensure accuracy and quality of cuts while minimizing waste
Perform routine maintenance and adjustments on router machines
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Qualification
Required
Operate manual or CNC routers to cut, trim and shape materials
Read and interpret blueprints, routing instructions, and measurements
Set up tools, fixtures, and materials for each job
Ensure accuracy and quality of cuts while minimizing waste
Perform routine maintenance and adjustments on router machines
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

2 year degree or field experience
2+ years of router machine experience (CNC or manual)
Preferred
Previous experience as a router operator in a manufacturing or fabrication setting
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
Knowledge of different materials and router bit selection
Ability to differentiate materials, aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and types of plastic
Programming capabilities
Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude
Commitment to workplace safety
Technical or vocational training in machining or fabrication
