Responsibilities
Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) tasks, Integrated Baseline Review (IBR), Internal EVM reporting
Set up and maintain cost control system, monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
Perform analysis and prepare reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
Support the Control Account Managers (CAMs) in the Variance Analysis Reporting (VAR) process
Lead the Baseline Change Control process by working with CAMs, Schedulers and other staff to document and implement change requests into the cost management system (Cobra)
Work with Control Account Managers to prepare budgets and schedules and forecasts for contract work and perform and/or assist in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis
Incorporate contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines
Perform monthly, quarterly and annual Estimates at Complete (EACs)
Set up, prepare and follow up with all required financial reports
Effectively communicate with leadership and customers regarding financial status, metrics and deliverables
Participate in knowledge transfer and best practices sharing with peers
Assist in preparing for internal and external audits
Establish a budget/EAC, analyze capital expenditure and prepare reports for programs

Qualification
Required
Level 2 - Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant Business Management/Finance related professional experience – OR – Master's degree with 1+ years of relevant Business Management/Finance related professional experience
Level 3 - Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant Business Management/Finance related professional experience – OR – Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant Business Management/Finance related professional experience
Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
Experience in cost management, finance management, or pricing & estimating
Experience successfully managing and producing data with strict deadlines
Experience with financial analysis and/or reporting
Earned Value Management System (EVM) experience
Strong PC skills and proficient knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel
Strong analytical ability
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
Preferred
EVM experience related to DCAA and DCMA compliance
Experience with cost management software including Deltek Cobra
Experience with scheduling software including Oracle Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project
Experience with materials planning and management software including Deltek Costpoint and/or SAP
Aerospace/Defense Industry experience
