Responsibilities
Contribute to high impact UX Design projects with teams across Development organizations to strengthen your technical and professional skills and help advance your career
Work with project partners to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet user needs and the project partners’ vision
Help promote standard methodologies in design, usability, and accessibility within the design and engineering teams and across the company
Provide technical support to MathWorks customers for highly complex technical issues in MATLAB, Simulink, and other MathWorks products
Specialize and develop technical skills in your domain and MathWorks product suite
Develop and demonstrate leadership skills through opportunities to coach and mentor others, and contribute to, initiate or lead process improvement projects
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree, or equivalent experience) is required
Experience with user experience
Preferred
Master's degree or Ph.D. in a STEM discipline with HCI, Design, or similar specialization
Experience with relevant design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe, Axure)
Portfolio available for viewing, highlighting multiple projects and your direct contributions linked in your resume
Experience crafting user experiences in technical/engineering domains
Programming experience in any programming language (MATLAB, R, Python, C++, Java, JS, etc.)
