UofL Health is seeking a Manager for Workforce Performance Improvement, Planning and Analysis. This role involves implementing strategic planning for labor and productivity management, collaborating with facility executives, and managing resources to improve productivity results.

Responsibilities

Support system, hospital, and department leaders in the implementation of labor management strategies
Manages the Monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure effectiveness, identifies areas for improvement, and provides guidance about the appropriate corrective actions
Implements and or monitors market-wide project and action plans for labor management, premium pay, contract labor, and overall labor expense management
Develops, oversees, and improves daily operations, policies, systems and procedures necessary to support cost reduction and system utilization goals
Oversees the position requisition process
Researches and transfers best practices to support performance improvement projects and renders reports based on analysis and research
Directs standardization of operational policies and procedures across system as appropriate
Utilizes comparative data to target performance improvement opportunities
Ensures the delivery of consistent and accurate management reporting to adequately support decision making
Manage and /or participate in the preparation of regular reporting and the maintenance of detailed and organized documentation for all labor metrics and initiatives
Support the training and development initiatives for operational leaders to improve operational efficiency
Participate in ensuring accuracy of volume forecasts, controls target requirements, manages stakeholder and business demands, and assesses and implements appropriate resource utilization
Participate in labor management projects, providing support in planning, execution, and evaluation
Participate in projects related to the development and innovation of new systems, processes, and technologies within the labor management scope
Serve as resource for productivity standard development
Assesses and maintains quality control practices that improve productivity and operational metrics
Maintain accurate reporting of labor management and productivity metrics and responsible for data integrity within markets in all labor management systems
Continuously monitor productivity performance using recognized tools and software
Participates in the development and delivery of new reporting and analytics to support decision making
Participates in facility and division budget planning
Manage the collection, compilation, analysis, and dissemination of labor data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and corrective actions
Provide administrative and analytical support to system leadership
Identify and recommend areas of improvements in labor processes and workflows
Support system leadership with actions to improve results and ensure needs and requirements are met
Perform other duties and projects as assigned and as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, finance, or Management
5+ years professional experience

Preferred

Master's degree preferred
