Responsibilities

We are particularly interested in hiring adjunct faculty to teach courses in Sustainable Management of Marine Resources, Impacts of Predators on Marine Ecosystems, and Applied Research in Marine Biology

Courses are taught asynchronously with a maximum of 20 students per course

Qualification

Ph.D. in Marine SciencesOnline teaching experienceCanvasMarine Sciences field experienceCommitment to environmental focusComputer proficiencyOrganizational skillsTime management skillsEffective communication

Required

Ph.D. in the discipline or a master's degree with ample experience in the profession

Experience with online teaching and previous use of Canvas is highly desirable

Prior work or field experience in the Marine Sciences is highly desirable

Ability to efficiently operate a personal computer and associated software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)

Must have strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately using email and digital conferencing tools

Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the college
