Responsibilities

Provide administrative and financial support to Principal Investigators and the Director of Sponsored Projects

Oversee post-award activities, including fund setup, journal entries, reconciliations, and monitoring of grant expenditures

Review award documents, budgets, and justifications for accuracy and compliance

Process research-related financial transactions, including e-Requisitions, vendor invoices, travel requests, and reimbursement documentation

Ensure adherence to federal and state regulations governing sponsored programs, including effort reporting requirements

Assist with audit preparation, financial data analysis, and reporting obligations (including SEFA)

Collaborate effectively with internal departments, research staff, and external partners to support the administration of sponsored projects

Required

Accounting or business administration background

Experience in financial management of research projects
