Responsibilities
Own the Client Relationship: Serve as the primary, trusted advisor for a dedicated portfolio of high-income clients. You are their guide to a complex financial world
Deliver 5-Star Communication: Proactively communicate with clients via video, chat, and email. You must be able to explain complex tax concepts (RSU planning, AMT, QSBS, tax-loss harvesting) in simple, human terms
Review & Strategize: Prepare and meticulously review complex individual and multi-state tax returns (1040s) involving equity compensation, K-1s, and investment income
Be a Proactive Problem-Solver: Use our AI platform to identify and implement year-round, strategic tax-saving opportunities for your clients
Build the Future: Collaborate directly with our product and engineering teams to provide feedback, helping us build a better, smarter AI platform for our clients and our expert team
Qualification
Required
Active CPA/EA License
3-5+ years of hands-on experience in individual tax preparation, review, and strategic planning
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Empathetic, clear, and able to build trust easily
Proactive, 'get-it-done' problem-solver
100% responsibility for clients' success
Deep expertise in the complex tax issues facing high-income earners, including equity compensation (RSUs, ISOs), capital gains, and multi-state filings
Disciplined self-starter who thrives in a 100% remote environment
