Mid, Senior LevelTemple University’s Lewis Katz School of Medicine is seeking qualified Internal Medicine trained applicants for a full-time faculty position in General Internal Medicine. The role involves providing comprehensive, patient-centered care while teaching the fundamentals of general internal medicine to future healthcare providers.

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to our patients in outpatient primary care settings, while teaching the fundamentals of general internal medicine to the healthcare providers of the future
Supportive environment with faculty involved in numerous innovative educational and research programs in areas such as clinical skills training, physician-patient communications, ambulatory medical education and clinical trials
Highlights include: providing outpatient HIV primary care, ambulatory addiction medicine, inpatient addiction medicine consults, along with the precepting of internal medicine residents
Qualification
Required
M.D., D.O. or Foreign Equivalent
Board Certification or Eligibility in Internal Medicine
Unrestricted medical license and DEA in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, or the ability to obtain it prior to start date
Credentials for a faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor level or above
Committed to supporting and promulgating diversity, equity and inclusion among faculty, staff, students and patients
Preferred
Board Certification or Eligibility in Addiction Medicine
Linguistic competence in Spanish preferred but not required
