LEMIT - Bill Blackwood Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas is seeking a Student Employee for the Office of Pre-Health Professions & Undergraduate Research. The primary responsibilities include assisting students, promoting services, and providing administrative support within the department.

Responsibilities

Greet each guest and offer assistance as needed
Provide information on services, programs at university-wide functions, and outreach events
Aid in posting to social media
Recommend and connect students to appropriate services
Assist students with making appointments
Evaluate Undergraduate Research emails
Contribute to the planning and execution of department events
Aid students with appointment check-ins
Communicate effectively with professional staff and other student staff
Collaborate with other departments to meet student needs
Promote Undergraduate Research services and programs at outreach events
Contribute to marketing ideas to build our brand
Regularly attend training and staff meetings
Create and maintain a semester schedule that correlates to the Ambassador job requirements
Responsible for administrative support tasks not limited to maintaining the office, assisting office staff, maintaining some departmental records, light data entry, running on-campus errands, preparing reports, and helping with other administrative tasks as needed
