Administrative Assistant & Mental Health Technician
Family & Children's Center is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their Community Support Program team in Black River Falls, WI. The role involves providing administrative support and direct care services to clients with severe and persistent mental illness, ensuring high-quality service delivery and assisting clients in their recovery journey.

Responsibilities
Provide reception services to persons with severe and persistent mental illness, including both in person and phone reception services. Utilize skills of support and customer service to assist clients. Use a multiple phone line system and other means of communication to take and relay messages to staff, as well as to coordinate matters needed to provide quality services to clients
Schedule appointments for the psychiatrist and provide phone reminders of appointments, as assigned
Provide administrative services to support the program in maintaining records in a way which meets DHS 63 requirements. This includes filing, organization of charts and documents needed for charts, record review, assistance with electronic record data entry and coordination, coordination of intake packets and maintenance of CSP databases, as assigned. This also includes other administrative duties, such as assisting with staff billing and coordinating with staff to ensure client needs are met
To provide direct support services and care to persons with severe and persistent mental illness in the CSP program. These services may include providing education and assistance to clients in developing independent living skills, such as cleaning, hygiene, laundry, cooking, shopping, developing recreational pursuits and money management
To provide direct support services to assist clients in attaining resources, attaining medical care, and furthering their wellness, as directed by the assessment and recovery plan. Assistance may include providing transportation and accompanying clients to appointments
Attend CSP team meetings, to share information and assist with providing coordinated and high quality services
Complete all required paperwork in a thorough and timely manner
Qualification
Required
Clerical work experience
Ability and aptitude to provide high quality customer service
Ability to work positively with people to assist them in growing their recovery
Good driving record
Ability to use and create documents with Microsoft Office programs
Ability to use electronic health care software
Ability to provide excellent customer service
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and work positively with people and as a team member
Preferred
Experience working with people with mental illnesses
