Responsibilities
Design & Engineering : Lead system layouts, electrical designs, and energy production estimates using AutoCAD, PVsyst, PVcase , and Helioscope
Project Management : Oversee projects from feasibility to commissioning, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence
Technical Leadership: Act as a solar technology expert, mentor junior engineers, and ensure regulatory compliance (NEC, UL, ASCE)
Permitting & Compliance: Coordinate with agencies, utilities, and regulators for necessary approvals
Quality Assurance: Review technical specs, conduct site assessments, and optimize system performance
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline)
5+ years in Solar PV engineering (rooftop, ground-mounted, single-axis tracker)
Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, PVcase, Helioscope
Knowledge of interconnection requirements, permitting, and regulations
