Soc/Clin Research Assistant

The Soc/Clin Research Assistant will gather, organize, and disseminate data for population-based epidemiologic cancer research studies, working closely with the RCA Coordinator and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
Gather, organize, and disseminate data for population-based epidemiologic cancer research studies that utilize Rapid Case Ascertainment (RCA)
Work under the guidance of the RCA Coordinator
Interface with hospital cancer registrars and university researchers
Interact with a team of NC Central Cancer Registry staff to provide quality support for cancer research
Access pathology reports
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions
Ability to analyze data collection methods and workflow processes and recommend improvements is critical to this position
Preferred
Education or experience involving relational database methodology preferred
Experience preparing professional reports and/or manuals preferred
Experience working w/ PHI
Experience with Microsoft Office Products including: Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Publisher
Experience with Electronic Medical Records
