Post-Doc Research Associate

They are seeking a self-motivated scientist for an NIH-funded Postdoctoral Research Associate position to study the role of laminin-binding integrins in lung development and repair, utilizing various research models and techniques.
Responsibilities
Study the role of laminin-binding integrins in lung development, alveolar homeostasis, and alveolar repair
Utilize lung-specific transgenic mouse models along with ex vivo models, in vitro assays, transcriptomics, and proteomics
Present research work at national and international scientific meetings
Work on translational and basic science research projects
Apply to prestigious postdoctoral fellowships
Qualification
Required
Position requires a Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent terminal or doctoral degree
Demonstrated ability to implement laboratory procedures, conduct research and records findings
Analytical, reasoning and problem solving skills
Ability to analyze and interpret statistical data and to communicate data in a clear, concise manner
Computer literacy including the ability to use a variety of software packages to analyze data
