Responsibilities
Conduct detailed online research, data gathering, and information verification to fulfill diverse client requests, which may include but are not limited to:
Researching and vetting service providers, contractors, and specialized businesses (e.g., home services, event planning)
Locating specific items, comparing pricing, checking availability, and summarizing purchase options
Compiling comprehensive travel recommendations, including flight, hotel, and transportation options, complete with cost breakdowns and booking links
Tracking down specific documents, contact information, or data points required for forms, applications, or personal projects
Consolidate complex research findings into clear, concise, and professional summaries or reports that enable the Concierge team to execute the task efficiently
Prepare all necessary data, forms, and instructions required for advanced tasks or phone calls (e.g., preparing scripts or necessary details for back-and-forth coordination)
Ensure all research is accurate, relevant, and completed within the client's service window (e.g., preparing necessary research to support Same-Day Execution for Executive clients and 1-2 Business Day Standard Execution for all other clients)
Proactively document research methods, trusted sources, and complex task workflows to improve overall team efficiency and knowledge
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in deep online research, market analysis, or a similar data-gathering role
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
High proficiency with search engines, comparative tools, and database research
Excellent written communication skills with the ability to summarize complex information clearly and concisely
Ability to manage multiple research projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines
Familiarity with the types of tasks commonly delegated to virtual assistants (e.g., scheduling, travel, personal admin, data entry prep)
A reliable computer (at least with an i5 processor) and a stable high-speed internet connection
A quiet, cozy workspace to handle calls and chats like a pro
Flexible with work schedule
Preferred
Experience in a personal assistant, concierge, or high-touch customer service environment
Familiarity with efficiency or project management tools (e.g. Basecamp)
Understanding of the needs of busy professionals and high-volume delegators (e.g., Solo, Family, and Executive clients)
