Responsibilities

Provide instruction for both basic and upper-level courses in finance, including derivatives and financial institutions, as well as MBA or basic economics courses, if needed

Develop curricula for new finance elective courses in the candidate’s research field

Mentor undergraduate students and engage students in research if possible

Pursue research activities in finance, including writing, dissemination, and presentation of research at national conferences

Required

A terminal degree (Ph.D. or DBA) in Finance or Financial Economics

Ongoing scholarship that can be published in high quality journals

Preferred

Demonstrated excellence in teaching

Progress toward (or completion of) CFA

Ability to teach AI, machine learning, and/or fintech

Experience working with diverse student populations and communities
