Responsibilities
Conducting comprehensive eating disorder evaluations
Providing individual, group, and family-based psychotherapy treatments in CEED Outpatient, CEED Eating Disorder Unit (EDU), and Carolina Athletics Mental Health and Performance Psychology Program (MHPP)
Engaging in research activities that reflect current projects at CEED and/or quality improvement/assurance projects based on clinical programming
Working with athletes presenting with disordered eating and body image concerns
Developing skills in mental performance interventions
Qualification
Required
Qualified applicants will have a strong background in Clinical/Counseling Psychology and will have completed their doctoral training and internship at APA-accredited programs by the start of the fellowship year, and must be eligible for provisional licensure in NC
Experience with family-based therapy and/or cognitive behavioral therapy for eating disorders is required
Preferred
A clinical background in eating disorders or evidence of dedication to the field of eating disorders is encouraged but not required
