Responsibilities
Draft, research, and argue complex motions, including dispositive and discovery motions, in federal and state courts
Manage and oversee all aspects of litigation, from pre-trial negotiations through trial and (when necessary) appeals
Provide strategic guidance for large, multi-party business, corporate, and civil litigation cases
Coordinate with clients—ranging from individuals and small businesses to large corporations—and advise on case progress and dispute resolution strategies
Represent clients before state and federal courts, administrative agencies, and in arbitration forums; participate in alternative dispute resolution as appropriate
Collaborate with a close-knit team committed to rigorous, results-focused legal representation
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctorate
Active, good-standing membership with the California Bar
Extensive litigation experience, with at least 3+ years preferred in complex commercial, business, or corporate litigation
Demonstrated expertise and passion for drafting persuasive legal motions and briefs; proven success in motion practice is essential
Proven ability to handle all litigation phases, including negotiations, discovery, hearings, and appeals
Previous experience managing large, multi-party cases across forums preferred
Excellent communication, legal research, and organizational skills
Must be able to work full-time (40 hours per week) on a long-term contract, fully remotely
Commitment to professionalism, collaboration, and strategic client service
